Both Clif energy bar and Luna Bar are popular nutrition
bars made by CLIFF BAR INC. If you've tried one of
these bars, you'll know why. ;-) The Clif bars are
made with whole grains, and includes goodies such
as milled flaxseed,
fruits, and extra fiber. They're also all natural
with no dairy products, and provide a healthy dose
of various vitamins and minerals.
I've used Clif and Luna bars many times over the years, and the product quality and taste has remained very consistent. It always tastes great, and offers good nutritional content as well. You get good amounts of carbs along with some protein, and 5 grams of fiber with each bar. Clif bar contains all natural ingredients as well.
Clif Energy Bar Taste Test
The Clif Bars come in a variety of flavorsing including:
apricot, caarot cake, chocolate, chocolate brownie,
cookies n cream, cranberry, and peanut butter. I tried
the chocolate flavor. It was a very nice tasting energy
bar with just the right amount of sweetness, at least
for me. Its got a nice, soft texture, and chewiness,
with a crunch here and there, where I bit into some
kind of nuts. I presume those are the roasted soy
beans I'm biting into, reading their label. But it
was quite good. I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10 for taste.
Each Clif Energy Bar contains 250 calories, 5g
of fat, 10g of proteins, 5g of fiber, and 44g of carbs.
The contents will probably vary slightly depending
on the flavor you get. The protein source in Clif
Bars come mainly from soy. The soy used in these bars
are non-GMO soy, meaning that they have not been genetically
modified.
Clif bar is definitely one of the better tasting
energy bars, and it actually tastes alot like real
food compared to most other bars. Another big plus
of these is that they won't melt in your hands, or
when the temperature gets a little too hot. A box
of Clif Bars can be had for just under $14, compared
to almost $20 at retail. If you're looking to try the Clif bars, just follow the link below.
