Protein Apple Pancakes
Ingredients:
6 slices whole wheat bread
3 scoops Designer Whey Vanilla Praline
½ cup all-purpose, enriched flour
4 large baking apples, i.e., Jonathan, peeled and
cored
2 Tbs. Lemon juice
2 Tbs. Granulated sugar
2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
6 large egg whites (add 2 egg yolks, if desired, for
fluffier pancakes)
3/4 cup skim milk
With the chopping blade of a food
processor, crumb bread and place in large mixing bowl.
Add Designer Whey and flour to bread crumbs and stir
with a fork to blend.
Using the grating blade of the food
processor, grate apples. Place in medium mixing bowl
and sprinkle lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon over
apples. Stir with a fork to mix. Add egg whites and
milk. Stir to mix again. Add apple, egg mixture to
bread crumb mixture and stir well with fork to blend.
Generously spray griddle with nonstick
cooking spray. Preheat griddle to medium high heat.
With 1/4 measuring cup, dollop batter onto heated
griddle. Spread batter to 4-inch circles. Cook until
both sides are golden brown and pancakes feel light.
Don't turn more than twice per side. Makes 16 pancakes.

Designer Whey Breakfast
Ingredients:
1 cup instant oatmeal
1 ¾ cups water
2 scoops Designer Whey Vanilla
Nonfat milk (optional)
Sugar-free jam, raisins, nuts, cinnamon (optional)
Mix one cup instant oatmeal with
1 ½ cups water in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Stir well until oatmeal is thoroughly moistened. Cook
in microwave on high power for about 2 minutes. Microwave
powers vary. You may need an extra minute or so. Stir
two level scoops of Vanilla Praline Designer Whey
into ¼ cup water while oatmeal is cooling slightly.
Pour this into oatmeal and stir.
Vanilla Praline is the most popular
flavor, but you may want to try chocolate, too. This
adds an extra 35 grams of protein to your breakfast.
Add nonfat milk or more water to thin oatmeal, if
desired. Add some of your favorite toppings such as
sugar free jam, raisins, nuts and cinnamon. Makes
1 serving

Ingredients:
1 packet Jell-O® Brand Banana
Instant Sugar-Free & Fat-Free Pudding
2 scoops Designer Whey™ (Chocolate or Vanilla
Praline)
3 cups of skim milk
Directions: Mix skim milk, pudding packet and Designer
Whey™ in blender on low speed for approximately
2 minutes. Pour into 2 medium size bowls and refrigerate
for 7-10 minutes. Makes 2 servings. Total Time: 15
minutes

Ingredients:
½ cup frozen grape juice
concentrate
3 scoops Designer Whey
1 scoop Phosphagen
HP
1 tsp. (5 grams) Knox ™ unflavored gelatin
8 oz water
Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend on high
speed for 1 minute.
