Instone Forza T Review

Sylvester Stallone, Instone & Supplements

After all his years in the movie business, the Sly has finally dug his way into the business of supplements and sports nutrition. His supplements company "Instone" makes several different products including: Intake Performance, IntakeLean, Forza-T, LeanFire, and High Protein Pudding. Because of the name, all his products carries a slight price premium compared to other similar products on the market, and this is definitely the case with Instone Forza T as well.

I'd be interested to find out of all the people who purchase Instone supplements on a regular basis, how many make the purchase based on product quality, and how many purchased based on the name. We've received a handful of reviews on the Instone products at our reviews site. You can read users feedback there. You'll also find a common feedback is that Instone products are somewhat over priced compared to other similar products on the market. Again, like I said, it's all about the name. But whether the name commands the extra price, only the end user can decide for himself.

What's In Instone Forza T

The thing about the supplements industry, is that it really isn't all that innovative. Well, I suppose you can't really make ground breaking discoveries everyday. There's all these different products on the market, and the manufacturers mix and combine them to come up with "new and better" products. But really, you can do just as good going the home made route with it. Like creatine for example. Throw in some dextrose, and you essentially get Muscletech's way overpriced "Celltech" and EAS' Phosphagen. See our home brew recipe here. Or how about add some creatine, HMB, glutamine and you get EAS's Betagen. Or how about throw in some dextrose with a blend of proteins and call it a weight gainer! I'm telling you, there's some seriously intelligent people in the product development departments of these manufacturers. Okay, end of sarcasm. =)

Forza T really isn't that much different from the above examples. Sure, its a great product, our user reviews say so. (read the Forza T user reviews here.) But its a great product NOT because it was innovative, but because it uses great ingredients that you can spent much less money buying them separately! That's right! Basically, all Instone Forza T contains is these 3 key ingredients:

  1. 300 mg of 6-OXO
  2. 190 mg of Tribulus Terrestris
  3. ZMA stack

All that mumble jumble aside, these 3 ingredients work fantastically to boost your testosterone levels and free testosterone levels.

We all know what tribulus and ZMA are. If you're not sure, you can read up on them here:

Tribulus Terrestris
ZMA Information

So, how about that 6-OXO?

6-OXO Review & Info

Quick blurb on 6-oxo. 6-OXO was developed by ErgoPharm. It acts as an inhibitor of the aromatase enzyme blocking the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. (Estradiol is the most potent estrogen of a group of endogenous estrogen steroids.) So in simple english, 6-OXO stops conversion of testosterone to estrogen.

I tried finding some scientific research done on 6-OXO, but couldn't really come up with anything substantial. There is one study floating around the web and posted on Ergopharm's website on 6-OXO. The study found the testosterone levels increased 188% and free testosterone levels increased 226% over a period of 3 weeks for the subjects.

Even if there's limited research on 6-OXO, personally I have to give it 2 thumbs up, because I've used it with great results.

Instone Forza T Side Effects

Side effects of Forza T are what would be expected from the increase in testosterone levels. The most common side effects include acne problems, increase in hair growth, and increase in sex drive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing! However increase in male baldness is also a possibility as increase in testosterone will lead to increase in DHT, so for those with a family history of hair loss, this should be a consideration before using Forza T.

Conclusion

Overall, Forza T is a great product and works great - that's only because of the ingredients it uses: ZMA, Tribulus, and 6-OXO. However, because of the brand name, you will pay a price premium for this product.

If you don't care much about the Instone brand name, and want to save some cash, go the home brew route, and just get all these ingredients yourself. You'll spent a little extra cash in total, but you'll be getting a lot more servings and at a much lower cost per serving doing it yourself!
